The surgical jugular block can be cut and sutured multiple times. It also allows you to palpate the jugular vein, and learn where it is located, to improve your operational skills.

The jugular block sits into the dog model snuggly, intersecting the trachea and oesophagus. The block is secured in place with velcro.
